Shrimp and Smoked Salmon Quiche

Shrimp and Smoked Salmon Quiche

This quiche is sooooo good!!!!!! It all started when I said to my sister that I had to use up some smoked salmon my parents had made a few days ago. We thought shrimps and salmon would make a great combo and found a great quiche recipe online. Of course I had to adjust it a little (if not it would be no fun! lol)

Dough is something that scares me and I really don’t like working with it…like… at all. But tonight, don’t ask me why, I felt that dough was going to be in the cards. Well it was super duper easy to make and oh so good.

    • 175 g Butter
    • 350 g Flour
    • some Salt
    • 2 Eggs
    • 250 mL Cream
    • 150 g Smoked Salmon
    • 150 g Shrimps (Cooked and Diced)
    • 150 g Shredded Cheese (Gruyere, Emmental or Goat Cheese would work best)
    • Salt (To taste)
    • Pepper (To taste)
    • For: 6 pieces
    • Preparation: 15 min
    • Cooking: 30 min
    • Ready in: 45 min

    Instructions

    1. Prepare the dough by lightly working the butter, flour and salt in a bowl. Add enough water to make the dough smooth and pliable.
    2. Roll the dough and lay in a buttered pie dish.
    3. Whisk the eggs and the cream. Add the shrimp, smoked salmon, cheese, salt and pepper.
    4. Pour the mixture into the dough.
