Butter And Sage Gnocchi
- My husand love gnocchi and so do my children. Ok ok…me too!! Lol My favourite way of eating them is when I sautée them in butter because… butter! This sage and butter version is one of many but a true favourite of mine!! The recipe makes about 4 portions for a side served with veggies. If you make it a main it would only serve 2.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs Gnocchi
- 1/3 cup Butter
- 1 tbsp. Olive oil
- 1/4 cup Chopped sage
- 1/2 cup Grated parmesan
Instructions
- In a medium pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the gnocchi and cook for 3 minutes or until they come up to the top. Make sure not to overcook them. Drain.
- In a pan on medium heat, melt the butter and olive oil. Add the sage and cook until sage is fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add the gnocchi and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring often. This will give it a nice nutty crust. Add the parmesan and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Give it a stir and voilà!!
